Orutambu Uganda.

Orutambu Uganda is a community development organisation established in 2019 by Local community leaders in Uganda and volunteers from Spain with an aim of creating a platform for supporting and transforming the most vulnerable people and communities.

Orutambu Uganda is registered under the Laws of Uganda with National Bureau for NGOs in Uganda (Reg. No 7088) and also in Spain as an association (Reg. No 29-1-13394) currently operating from the rural and urban communities of Rwenzori region in Uganda.

Orutambu Uganda mainly focuses on actions that directly improve on the lives of the poor, vulnerable and marginalized communities in urban, peri-urban and rural areas. Orutambu Uganda mobilizes resource and invests in community empowerment and development programs that contribute towards poverty reduction through the provision of sustainable integrated technical and material support, in broad areas of education, health promotion, sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, rights and access to justice, household income generation, advocacy, provision of clean water, sanitation and hygiene.

MISSION

To provide opportunities and solutions to the less privileged and enhance the quality of life for children, youth, women and men affected by diseases, poverty, conflict and disasters.
