Orutambu Uganda provides educational support to orphans and Venerable Children through provision schools fees, lunch at school, scholastic materials like books, pens, Uniforms, school bags and Shoes. Orutambu Uganda also provides home reading materials to the Children.
What We Do
This has given hope to the children and also availed them an opportunities to discover their academic strength and talents in themselves.
Under skilling for the youth, the focus is mainly on youth out of school. Youth are progressively skilled through apprentice training in tailoring, knitting, weaving, hair dressing and motor vehicle mechanics and at the end of the training course, the trainees are assessed by the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda, through the Directorate of Industrial Training and the successfully candidates are awarded with performance certificates. With availability of resources graduates were supported to start their own initiatives/ business and others are supported to secure employment from various tailoring and knitting workshops in Fort Portal Tourism City.
